Project Background
In early 2025, Mr. Qian, the operator of highway service area convenience stores in Shandong Province, planned to introduce freshly prepared coffee services to enhance the diversity of commercial offerings in the service areas. After conducting market research, he learned about our company's JK86 model coffee vending machine through Alibaba. This model features freshly ground coffee and independent ice-making functions.
Pilot Operation Phase
In January 2025, Mr. Qian purchased five JK86 units as the first batch, deploying them at the entrances of convenience stores in five service areas with high traffic flow. The devices support scan-to-pay functionality and offer basic coffee options such as Americano and Latte, with the choice of iced or hot beverages. Operational data showed that during the pilot phase, the average daily sales per unit ranged from 35 to 50 cups, exceeding 80 cups during holidays.
Expansion Deployment
Based on positive feedback from the two-month pilot phase, Mr. Qian placed an additional order for 20 units of the same model in March 2025, gradually covering more key service areas across the province. The new devices followed the same operational model, and cold brew coffee options were added to some machines to meet the approaching summer demand. During this period, our technical staff conducted centralized training for service area personnel, covering replenishment, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting.
Operational Results
As of June 2025, Mr. Qian had deployed over 50 JK86 units across more than 30 service areas in Shandong Province. Under normal conditions, the average daily sales per unit ranged from 400 to 600 RMB. During holidays such as Labor Day and National Day, daily sales per unit at service areas located along major highways could reach approximately 2,000 RMB. Mr. Qian noted that the introduction of coffee services also boosted sales of related products in service area convenience stores, such as snacks and ice cream.
Ongoing Cooperation
Currently, Mr. Qian has more than ten new units in production, with plans to further expand to newly built service areas within the province and neighboring regions. Recently, both parties have begun discussions on adding hot chocolate and milk tea options to meet winter beverage demands and are considering piloting dual-machine deployments at selected high-traffic locations.
