Project Background
In early 2024, David Chen, the property manager of an office building in Vancouver, Canada, contacted our company through Alibaba International. He indicated that employees in the building had a significant demand for freshly ground coffee, but the building only had a traditional convenience store, which could not meet the need for convenient, high-quality coffee.
Communication and Solution Development
After receiving the inquiry, our international sales representative Sophia promptly arranged a video conference with David Chen to understand in detail the site conditions, target customers, and operational requirements. Based on the office building’s characteristics—such as concentrated morning rush hours and limited space—Sophia recommended the JK88 coffee vending machine. This model supports freshly ground coffee, a variety of beverage options, mobile payments, and remote inventory management, and is compatible with North American voltage standards.
Procurement and Implementation
After two weeks of communication and technical details confirmation, David Chen decided to purchase one JK88 unit as a pilot. The equipment arrived in Vancouver in March 2024. Sophia coordinated with our after-sales team for installation and debugging and provided simple operational training for the property management staff.
Operational Feedback and Repeat Purchase
After the machine was put into operation, usage frequency among building employees steadily increased, with average daily sales of 30–50 cups. Peak usage occurred between 8–10 AM on workdays. In a follow-up call three months later, David Chen noted, "The equipment has performed stably, and employees generally report that it saves them time compared to going out for coffee. The property management also earns additional income through revenue sharing."
Based on the pilot results, David Chen purchased two additional JK88 units in June 2024. These were deployed on another floor of the office building and in the underground parking access area, further covering different customer flows within the building.
Ongoing Cooperation
All three machines are currently operating normally, and the property management maintains regular communication with our company. Recently, discussions have begun about the possibility of adding iced coffee options based on seasonal changes. This project has also become a representative case for our company in the North American office building market.
